The Horses

zeus, a gray Percheron draft horseZeus, our white & light gray Percheron gelding, probably has the most romantic of our horses' backgrounds. Although he has humble roots originating in Bend, Oregon, Zeus is named after a Greek God who was the supreme ruler of Mt Olympus. After coming to California, Zeus was trained for and competed successfully in Jousting Tournaments.

Zeus enjoys going to horse shows, playing in the ocean, spending time hanging out with pals and just cruising around pulling his carriage. Born black as most gray/white horses are, Zeus becomes more white as he ages. Zeus was dark gray when we brought him home.

Zeus loves people and will look forward to meeting you on your wedding day.

Prince, a sorrel Belgian draft horsePrince, a sorrel Belgian gelding, is the tallest of our draft horses. Standing 18.1 hands, Prince can easily pull the heaviest of loads. Prince acts as big brother to Ben and Belle, the babies in our herd. Prince is one of the smartest horses around. He knows how to read traffic lights and will make a left turn on a green arrow all by himself. Autopilot Amish style!
